In this beautiful kitchen almost all of the existing cabinets were re-used. It is amazing example of the power of refacing. The upper cabinets were simply pushed all the way to the ceiling with a small open shelf occupying the added space below. A large built in pantry was removed to add more counter space left of the cooktop. The previous peninsula was removed to open the space into what is now the “coffee area”, and a new bank of cabinetry was added to create a coffee bar and replace the old pantry. All of the cabinets got new doors and some were reworked to add drawers for better function. These improvements were made all the better with the homeowner’s unique and whimsical style. This project was masterfully completed by Homewell Renovations.
