John Utter

Owner of Strongtower Woodworks

John is a general contractor serving western Kentucky. With over 20 years in the industry, John has been involved with many aspects of construction. Starting as a laborer with a small contractor, he was quickly introduced to framing, siding and roofing. Later he joined a custom home builder where he honed his framing skills and fell in love with the detailed work of finish carpentry. In the early 2000’s he moved to Kentucky to work for a log home builder. Shortly after, he worked for a general contractor specializing in remodeling. Today, John is the owner of StrongTower Woodworks. While kitchens and baths are the primary focus, Strongtower builds decks, additions, performs whole house remodels and is interested in heavy timber construction.

Alecia Taylor

Owner of Love Of Function space planning

After interior design school, Alecia’s love of CAD work landed her at a civil engineering firm. She honed her skills by drawing storm sewers and curb details. To get back into interiors she spent years designing to sell for big box stores, at one point, planning 4-7 kitchens per week. Alecia struck out on her own in 2016, starting Love Of Function, with the belief that function is at the core of good design. While kitchens and baths are Love Of Funtion’s bread and butter, Alecia has created and drawn outdoor landscapes, attic and garage conversions, and even a podcast table for a local celebrity.
